Welcome to Owl Class!


Do you like the huge Elmer we created on the field?



 This half term our enquiry is:

'Is there anything out there?'

This topic will lead up to the Wargrave Festival "Out of this world".


Forest School

Monday 3rd July and 10th July in the morning - all year ones

We do need helpers to enable us to go.  If you can help please speak to Mrs Rutherford.



THIS WEEK (wb 17.7.17)


In English we will be reading lots of stories.


In Maths we will be learning to solve problems.





 Reading - Please read and discuss books everyday. 



Spelling - Continue to learn the age-related spellings. Please encourage correct letter formation when practising the words.


English - Please choose an animal and find out...what they look like, where they live, what they eat and any other interesting facts about them. You could record your information in note form or by drawing pictures or even by just remembering it if you can!



Maths - Practise telling the time on an analogue clock (o'clock, half-past, quarter to and quarter past).

Year 2 - Please remember your costumes and props for the leavers' show this week.

Owl class tennis lesson will be on the following dates: 29th June, 6th July, 13th July, 20th July. If you are able to help walking on these dates please let us know after half-term.
