Welcome back to the new school year!
CONCEPTS: Justice, Peace, Courage
This term our topic is 'All About Me' and 'Superheroes' as we focus on the lives of significant people in our History lessons. In English, we will be writing character descriptions, wanted posters and letters using 'Supertato' as our stimulus. Science learning will be focused around the seasonal changes we can see over the Autumn term and looking at the different groups of animals: mammals, fish, reptiles, birds and amphibians; and what their basic needs are. In our creative subjects; we will be focusing on the artist Mondrian in Art, exploring repeating patterns using shapes within our pieces of art; making puppets in our DT lessons; and looking at Hip-Hot in Music. We also have RE, PSHE, Computing and two PE lessons a week. So much to look forward to!
