PGL 2023
Here is where you can see what the Year 6s are getting up to on our residential trip to Marchants Hill from 22nd May - 26th May 2023.
Monday
We’ve arrived! Mr Phillips led us a on a strenuous hike through the woods. Then we settled into our rooms, had a delicious dinner (the salad bar was amazing!) and finished with ‘Balloon Splash’. We’ll sleep well tonight!
Tuesday
Action packed day! Jacobs Ladder, climbing, archery tag, survivor, problem solving and more!
Bravery, resilience and perseverance all in evidence as most children, faced their fears and conquered them! Tonight we had fun round the campfire, singing songs and toasting marshmallows.
Wednesday
The sun has been shining all day and we have been kept busy! Rifle shooting, abseiling, hurtling down a zip wire and following a sensory trail whilst blindfolded. A real mix of using both our physical and mental abilities.
Thursday
Orienteering, problem solving, climbing, archery and taking a leap of faith. The children are becoming even more courageous at taking risks and loving every minute of it!
It’s the final night and we’re having a silent disco!
Friday
Raft building and buggy building. Both great ways to end out fantastic week.
