Please try to repeat these activities throughout the week. This will really help your child to consolidate their previous learning through practice and repetition.
Using the number cards you created in previous weeks, can you select a number and then try to share that many objects (coins, grapes, etc.) between some of your teddies?
E.g. share 6 coins between 2 teddies, how many do they get each to make it fair? You could use larger numbers and more teddies. Do you have any left over?
Use your own teddies to help you solve the problems on the sharing worksheets.
Please try to read with your child everyday. You can read books from home or you can read ebooks through Oxford Owl website by following this link:
If you need some guidance on which book level is most suitable for your child, please take a look at the table explaining book levels by following this link: https://cdn.oxfordowl.co.uk/2019/07/19/13/52/18/160/OxfordLevelsAndBookBands.png
Fix the sentence!
To write our sentences we regularly try to remember to use a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. It is always a great idea to practise checking we have these after we have finished our writing.
Some sentences need checking and correcting! Can your child read the short sentences first and then check to see if they have all the features needed?
Can they fix it and write it out again using pre cursive font?
Have fun with your learning this week and please remember that we love to see you what have been up to! You can upload any work or photos onto your child's Tapestry account. We will then give feedback on your child's work, where appropriate.
