THE ROBERT PIGGOTT CE SCHOOLS' CURRICULUM

At Robert Piggott CE Schools the curriculum vision is built on the Christian Bible passage ‘A tree is known by its fruits’ Matthew 12:33 and our values of Grace, Courage and Friendship, both of which form firm foundations from which our pupils can flourish in all aspects of their school life.  

Our curriculum is designed to support our children flourishing in mind, body and spirit. It is a ‘skills and knowledge’ based curriculum which offers abundant opportunities for children to grow into confident, creative and resilient learners. The spiral curriculum has been carefully designed to support our mixed year group classes which enables children to explore the curriculum through the lens of topics and key concepts.  Our strong links with the local community of Wargrave support us to offer a broad and balanced curriculum with plenty of opportunities for curriculum enrichment from the exciting STEM fair in the summer to the annual visit by the reindeer!
