  • PTA TLC DAYS

    Fri 11 Oct 2019

On the 11th and 12th October the wet weather wasn’t going to stop the parents, staff and children from turning out to give both schools an autumn make over!  A hardy team took on the long list of jobs and the results speak for themselves!  Leaves have been collected, guttering cleared, the alleyway cut back, windows cleaned and flower beds well and truly pruned.  A huge thank you to everyone who took part and fingers crossed that we enjoy a bit of sunshine when the spring clean up days come around!

  • RPJ HARVEST ASSEMBLY

    Wed 09 Oct 2019

The Junior School celebrated Harvest at St Mary's Church, bringing our fruits, vegetables and other gifts to share.  We heard how farmers are vital in the production of our food, how important patience is when growing food and how God was the first creator.

We shared our values of Grace, Courage & Friendship as well as reflecting on caring, co-operation, perseverance and sharing.

Rev Cook shared a story from the Bible  -  which gave some of us a fright (when he popped the balloons!) it made us all think.

Thank you for all your donations of food which have been given to the food bank in Reading.

  • RPI HARVEST CELEBRATION & SALE

    Tue 08 Oct 2019
On the 8th October 2019 the children in the Infant School welcomed their families to the annual Harvest Celebration.  The theme this year was ‘A tree is known by its fruit’ Matthew 12:33 and each class lead a section of the worship based around this theme. We would like to thank Mrs Creedon for leading the music for the Celebration and Mr Ferguson for coming and talking to us about the Bible passage, and how it helps us make wise choices in our lives.
  • KS1 BEKONSCOT MODEL VILLAGE TRIP

    Wed 02 Oct 2019

Key Stage 1 pupils enjoyed a fantastic educational trip to Bekonscot Model Village.  The topic this term is 'Big & Small' and it was wonderful to join the children as they explored the 1930s village and experienced the sensation of being 'giants' looking down on the tidy scenes of everyday life.
